📋 Key Responsibilities:

• Draft original and supplemental oil and gas title opinions

• Conduct title due diligence for transactions and regulatory compliance

• Research and analyze legal issues affecting mineral rights and land ownership

• Draft and negotiate oil and gas leases, JOAs, and related contracts

• Provide strategic counsel on energy law issues to clients and internal stakeholders

• Coordinate with partners, clients, and land professionals on legal outcomes

• Ensure precision and accuracy in all documentation and communications

✅ Candidate Qualifications:

• Minimum of 2 years' experience in oil and gas title examination

• Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school

• Active law license in Texas or ability to obtain promptly

• Demonstrated expertise in oil and gas law and land title matters

• Experience with contract drafting in the energy industry preferred

• Strong writing, analytical, and communication skills

• Ability to work both independently and in a team setting

• Exceptional attention to detail and critical thinking ability
