The Department of Computer Information Systems and Business Analytics at Metropolitan State University of Denver (MSU Denver) invites applications for part-time affiliate faculty teaching positions. This listing is for potential future needs for part time affiliate instructors of quantitative methods. Responsibilities include teaching 3 – 9 credit hours, being available for consultation with students, teaching assigned classes in person or online by delivering course content, preparing course materials and lesson plans, grading student work, providing timely feedback, addressing student questions consistent with university policies, advising, and providing academic support. Instruction may be in-person, online, or hybrid. Candidates should be sensitive to the educational needs of a diverse student population. Required qualifications include a Master’s degree in Business Analytics, Operations Research, Management Science, or related field and meeting the College of Business faculty qualification policy criteria. Preferred qualifications include a Doctorate or Dissertation complete in a related field and work experience in teaching. Terms of employment are part-time, at-will, paid per credit hour, usually semester-by-semester, with no benefits. Teaching assignments depend on budget and enrollment. Candidates are expected to teach in person/on campus upon hire.
