Ginsberg’s Foods is looking to hire full-time AND seasonal Driver Helper's to assist our fleet in Scotia, NY! Are you someone who likes to be part of a supportive, service driven team environment? If so, the Driver Helper position at Ginsberg’s Foods may be a good opportunity for you! Weekly Work Schedule: Monday – Friday, start and end times vary day to day. Pay: Starts at $18/hr for full-time and $19/hr seasonal . To perform this job, you must be able to comfortably lift and maneuver cases that range from 1lb – 80lbs . One thing’s for sure, you don’t need a gym membership when you’re a Driver Helper! Reap the benefits of a paid workout by unloading product to our loyal customers using the equipment provided, all while forming long-lasting relationships with your team and management. Our Driver Helpers ride with experienced CDL A and Non CDL Drivers to aid them in safely delivering products to our customers locations. We're looking for team players that want to help lead the company towards success and have the desire to make a direct impact to the community and team with their work. It's a breath of fresh air" - Ginsberg's Foods Driver Essential Job Requirements: Physically unloads heavy product from the truck at customer locations using a hand truck and ramps. Navigates various surfaces, inclines, steps and stairs, while delivering product to the appropriate location (dry, cooler, frozen) at the customer’s place of business. Interacts in a professional manner with customers, attempting to resolve concerns as they arise. Adheres to all company safety programs and practices to ensure personal safety and the protection of company equipment. Complies with all Ginsberg’s Foods delivery policies and procedures in order ensure the accuracy of the delivered product and to avoid personal injury and/or damage to the product.
