Job Summary: 

The Experienced Equipment Operator will operate a variety of equipment, trucks and tractors for the purpose of street and utility repair, maintenance, and construction of facilities.

Job Specifications: 

  • Starting Wage: $21.00/hr - $25.53/hr
  • Employment Type: Year Round
  • Shift Type: Full Time hours available
  • Minimum Age: At least 18 years of age
  • Housing Availability: Yes 

Job Responsibilities: 

  • Begins training on hard plow equipment.
  • Focus on training and talent development, certified CDL trainer.
  • Operations level expert, leader within Road Maintenance team, supports Lead Equipment Operator in prioritization labor and projects.
  • Operate all equipment used by the Mt. Ops team
  • Monitor all equipment and make sure that all issues are addressed promptly and communicated with Vehicle Maintenance.
  • Physical Labor will be required due to the broad scope of the jobs that will be done for the resort. Responsible for all aspects of Mountain operations.
  • Maintenance of signs and repairs and general maintenance.
  • Able to take directions and work as part of a team
  • Accurately troubleshoot equipment problems.
  • Other duties as assigned

Job Requirements: 

  • 1 year in Intermediate Equipment Operator role, must have held CDL Class B with Air Brake, Passenger, and Manual endorsements for 2 years.
  • Must have received an achieves expectations or higher on end of season review or tracking towards an achieves expectations or higher during mid-season review.
  • If applicable, must be in good standing with EE housing.
  • At least 1-year heavy equipment experience
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Must be able to communicate fluently in English
  • Valid driver's license and clean driving record
  • Class A or B CDL License is required for this position
  • Able to lift & carry up to 50 lbs.
  • Able to work extended hours outdoors in an alpine environment

 

The expected pay range is $21.00/hr - $25.53/hr. This is the pay range we reasonably expect to pay for this position. Individual compensation decisions are based on a variety of factors.
