Job Description Legal Assistant Los Angeles, CA 90045 SALARY: $54-58k a year based on experience

At least 2+ years litigation experience Plaintiff experience in personal injury preferred.

JOB DESCRIPTION AND DUTIES:

Our complex litigation team is searching for a legal assistant with experience handling mass and class action cases. The successful candidate is willing and able to work in person and has a background in calendaring, legal filing in state and federal court, assistance with drafting pleadings, propounding, and answering discovery, preparation for trials and handling client calls. Due to the fast-paced environment, it is necessary to be efficient, organized, detail-oriented, able to prioritize duties and adhere to company policies and procedures.

QUALIFICATIONS:

Technologically savvy including proficient in Microsoft Office. Familiarity with federal and state codes of civil procedure and litigation processes. Excellent communication skills both written and verbal. Resourceful and proactive in dealing with internal and external issues. Ability to organize, prioritize, and work under pressure. Ability to negotiate and problem solve.

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:
