Production Technician Job Description:

PrideStaff is recruiting for an industry leader in Aerospace who is in need of a Production Technician to join their team. The Production Technician will provide on-site support, assembly, and maintenance for our equipment and systems. The ideal Production Technician has an excellent understanding of Aerospace and mechanical knowledge with experience in assembly, fabrication, electrical wiring, and the use of hand and power tools. The Production Technician requires a proactive approach to troubleshooting and problem solving in various environments, including manufacturing facilities and warehouses. The Production Technician is a full time, direct hire position near Hartford, CT.

***Travel & a Current Passport Will be Required After a Full 12 Months of Training is Complete!

Production Technician Responsibilities:

• Build Instruments That Measure Anything From a Camera Pill to 30K Pound Satellites, Mechanical, Electrical, Pneumatic & Sometimes Hydraulic Assemblies
• Program Modules Including Testing & Troubleshooting Assemblies
• Configure & Program Hardware Interface Devices
• Verify System & Instrumentation Performance is Meeting Standards
• Perform Installation of Different Types of Instruments Including Routine Checks
• Travel to Customer Sites For Installation of New Equipment as Well as Service & Support For Previously Installed Equipment
• Perform Mechanical & Electrical (Electronic Wiring) Assembly of Instruments & Machines
• Assist With Additional Manufacturing & Business Needs as Directed

Production Technician Job Requirements:

• High School Diploma or Equivalent Required
• AA Degree in Manufacturing / Electronics or Trade School Certificate Preferred
• Proven Mechanical Knowledge With Hands-On Experience in a Manufacturing Facility or Assembly Line Environment Required
• Proficient With Use of Hand & Power Tools For Assembly & Repairs Such as Calipers, Multimeters, Diagnostic & Measuring Tools
• Excellent Problem-Solving Skills With The Ability to Troubleshoot Equipment Issues Effectively
• Knowledge of Low-Voltage & AC Wiring is Required
• Superb Communication Skills For Interacting With Clients & Team Members
• Must be Able to Work Independently as Well as Part of a Team in a Fast-Paced Environment
• Must be Able to Lift up to 50 Lbs
• Solid Computer Knowledge With The Ability to Adapt & Learn Quickly
• Once The 12 Month Training is Complete, Some Travel Will be Required Nationally & Internationally
