Employment Solutions is partnering with a stable and successful company to hire Maintenance Supervisor to work onsite in Glastonbury, CT . This is a direct hire full-time position with outstanding benefits!

The Maintenance Supervisor will oversee the daily operations of the maintenance team, ensuring all equipment, machinery, and facility systems are operating safely and efficiently. This role is hands-on and requires strong technical knowledge of steel fabrication equipment and industrial maintenance practices.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Supervise and coordinate the activities of maintenance technicians across shifts.
• Prioritize and assign daily work orders, preventative maintenance, and emergency repairs.
• Ensure proper functioning of all production equipment including welding systems, press brakes, cutting machines, cranes, and conveyors.
• Maintain records of maintenance work, inspections, and parts inventory.
• Work closely with the Maintenance Manager to implement maintenance schedules, improvement projects, and equipment upgrades.
• Troubleshoot electrical, hydraulic, mechanical, and pneumatic systems.
• Monitor safety compliance and promote safe work practices in all maintenance activities.
• Train and mentor maintenance staff on procedures, safety standards, and equipment operation.

JOB REQUIRMENTS:

• High school diploma or equivalent; technical degree or certification preferred.
• 5+ years of industrial maintenance experience, with 2+ years in a supervisory role.
• Strong working knowledge of equipment used in steel fabrication and manufacturing environments.
• Excellent leadership, communication, and organizational skills.
• OSHA training or knowledge of OSHA standards is a plus.
• Highly organized with strong ability to manage multiple projects with high visibility, high impact and tight timelines simultaneously.
